Ketlen Vieira gets a six-month suspension after a positive test from her fight with Cris Cyborg
Ketlen Vieira received a six-month suspension after both samples from her Aug. 22 bout with Cris Cyborg tested positive for a banned steroidal substance.

Ketlen Vieira has been suspended for six months after a positive drug test from her Aug. 22 fight with Cris Cyborg in Tampa.
Regulator Mike Mazzulli said Vieira's A and B samples returned the same adverse finding for a steroidal substance banned by WADA. The suspension is retroactive to the fight date.
Vieira missed weight by more than seven pounds before the bout which was fought as a non-title contest. She said she took the substance to treat a knee injury.
"I believe clean sport deserves strong enforcement," Cyborg said.
