Jesse McCartney excited for baby girl but still shaken by son's early arrival
Jesse McCartney says he is thrilled to welcome a baby girl. He admits his son's premature birth and 70 days in the NICU left him with some PTSD.

Jesse McCartney is getting ready to be a dad again. He is over the moon about it but admits the memory of his first child's birth still weighs on him.
A daughter on the way
The singer was stopped by a photographer Thursday at LAX. He shared that he and his wife Katie Peterson are expecting a baby girl.
He said he is thrilled about growing his family.
Memories of the NICU
McCartney explained that the frightening days around his son's birth have made the baby prep harder to enjoy. He described the feeling as a kind of PTSD.
Their first child came about three months ahead of schedule. The baby boy then needed 70 days of care in a NICU, a hard road for any parent.
So far so good
For now McCartney says the couple is staying "cautiously optimistic" that this delivery will go more smoothly.
He added that everything has gone well up to this point and that Peterson is feeling good.
