Cavs center Jarrett Allen joins Browns fans for a game of beer die at a Muni Lot tailgate
Days before the Cavaliers open their season, Jarrett Allen spent Sunday in Cleveland's Muni Lot playing beer die with Browns fans before the Ravens game.

Cleveland fans are used to cheering for Jarrett Allen. On Sunday he was one of them.
A day off in the Muni Lot
The Cavaliers center showed up early for the Browns game against the Baltimore Ravens and headed straight for the Muni Lot, the city's famous tailgating spot just outside the stadium. Before long he was in the middle of a game of beer die with a group of fans.
For anyone who has not played, beer die is a backyard table game where players toss a die high in the air and try to land it on the other side of a table while the other team tries to catch it. Every throw has to go at least eight feet up. That is not much of a problem for an NBA center.
Videos of Allen's turn at the table spread quickly. He looked relaxed and right at home. Nobody knows what was in his cup and fans did not seem to care.
Fans love it
Cleveland fans loved seeing one of their stars hang out like a regular person. Plenty of them called it the most Cleveland thing an athlete has done in years. Others joked that putting an NBA center on your beer die team should count as cheating since he can catch just about anything.
A few people did feel sorry for whoever ended up sitting behind him in the stadium later that day.
Back to work this week
It was the last free weekend for Allen and the Cavaliers. They open the season on the road against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday and play their home opener against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
Allen averaged 15.4 points and 8.3 rebounds last season for a Cavs team that won 52 games and reached the Eastern Conference finals. The Muni Lot will be rooting for him.
