Indiana woman arrested after allegedly spinning donuts on a courthouse lawn
The Jennings County Sheriff's Office says the driver, in her late 60s, was intoxicated when she tore up the grass outside the courthouse on Monday.

A southern Indiana courthouse lawn got an unexpected workout Monday afternoon.
The Jennings County Sheriff's Office says a woman in her late 60s was arrested after she allegedly drove in circles across the grass outside the county courthouse while intoxicated. Video released by the sheriff's office shows a car spinning in reverse, throwing up grass and dirt and narrowly missing trees.
The charges
Deputies said the driver was booked on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, along with several other counts. She has not been convicted. No one was hurt.
A message from the sheriff
The sheriff's office added a bit of humor when it shared the clip, reminding the public not to drive after a few margaritas at dinner and, above all, not to use the courthouse lawn as a racetrack.
