Holly Madison cheers on Jessica Biel's Playmates film after Crystal Hefner objects
Holly Madison says she is excited about Playmates, the Playboy film tied to Jessica Biel, even though Crystal Hefner has spoken out against it.

Holly Madison is in Jessica Biel's corner. The ex-star of The Girls Next Door is eager to see "Playmates," the coming film about the Playboy world.
Madison says the writer behind it, Lorraine Nicholson, is someone she knows. She calls her "a wonderful writer" and is glad Nicholson landed the project.
Room for every story
Madison says people should stay open-minded when others share what they lived through. Plenty of people listened when she spoke about her years at the Playboy Mansion, she notes.
She is grateful for that. Now she wants to give other storytellers the same chance.
Crystal Hefner's warning
Her comments follow pushback from Crystal Hefner. She was married to Hugh Hefner until he died in 2017. She has cautioned against making him or his world look glamorous.
Crystal also posted a private message she sent Biel. In it she urged the actress to think twice about playing "Hefner's 'wife.'"
She has talked openly about her own time in that world. She has also voiced worry about how the Mansion's past will look on screen.
Excited for the cast
The project has stirred a wider debate about how Hollywood should handle Playboy's messy history. Madison is still eager to see the result. She is a fan of one cast member in particular.
Madison says she loves Lily-Rose Depp as well and is counting down to the release.
