Diddy's expected prison exit moves up again with the new date now set for early February 2028
Federal prison records now list Sean Combs for release on Feb. 6, 2028, more than three weeks sooner than the March date posted last month.

Sean "Diddy" Combs just got a little closer to walking out of federal custody. His projected release date has shifted once again and this time it moved in his favor.
The Bureau of Prisons now lists the music mogul for release on February 6, 2028. Only last month the agency had him down for March 2, 2028, so the change shaves off more than three weeks.
His date has bounced around for months. At various points the federal system has also shown January 21 plus February 5 and February 20 as possible exit dates.
A rough stretch at Fort Dix
The new date comes after a hard few months for Combs while he was held at the New Jersey prison known as FCI Fort Dix. He was recently moved from there to FCI Allenwood in Pennsylvania.
During his time at Fort Dix he was placed in solitary confinement after allegedly breaking prison rules. The accusations included fighting along with using contraband cellphones.
According to reports, he also lived a VIP lifestyle at that facility by paying fellow inmates to give him massages, make his meals and handle his chores.
How he ended up behind bars
In 2025 jurors found Combs guilty on a pair of Mann Act counts tied to moving people over state lines for paid sex. Jurors cleared him of the far more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
He later received a 50-month sentence on those two counts.
