Colts will stick with Daniel Jones at quarterback against the Vikings despite his turnover troubles
Shane Steichen said Monday no change is planned after Jones threw two red zone interceptions in a loss to the Titans. The Colts also fired GM Chris Ballard.

Daniel Jones is still the Indianapolis Colts' starting quarterback.
Coach Shane Steichen said Monday that Jones will start when the Colts visit the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7. His job had been in question after Sunday's stunning home loss to the Tennessee Titans and the firing of general manager Chris Ballard on Monday.
Steichen has defended his quarterback all season and he did it again.
"He's aware that he has to produce and play better," Steichen said. "And I think the biggest thing is the takeaways, the turnovers."
"We've got to do a great job of taking care of the football, especially in the red zone, when you've already got three points," he said. "You've got to be smart down there. Don't force anything. And I believe he'll do a great job of that moving forward."
A rough season
Jones has nine turnovers this season. Only Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers has more. Jones ranks 30th among starting quarterbacks in QBR and 29th in both completion rate and yards per attempt.
He threw two interceptions in the red zone against Tennessee. The Titans erased a 13-0 deficit and won for the first time after an 0-5 start. The Colts fell to 2-4.
A big drop-off
Jones is still working his way back from a torn Achilles he suffered last December. He has also had to deal with an underwhelming group of receivers and an inconsistent offensive line.
Last season was the best of his career. He completed a career-high 68% of his passes. This season he is completing a career-low 59.6%.
