Christa Pike is up and walking after the failed execution, her lawyer says
Attorney Stephen Ferrell says she took a few steps around her room but her arms remain badly injured and her memory foggy.

Christa Pike is walking again after surviving two lethal injections, according to her lawyer.
Her attorney Stephen Ferrell said Wednesday marked the first time she got up and moved on her own, though she stayed within her room. A spokesperson for attorney Randy Spivey said she had taken a few steps.
Lingering injuries
Her arms remain puffy and she can hardly use them, Ferrell said. He described a mix of good and bad: she is fairly alert but also somewhat foggy and loses her train of thought easily. He said it is unclear whether she will have permanent damage.
When she woke Tuesday, her lawyers said, she asked where she was and who the people around her were.
Executions on hold
Governor Bill Lee has suspended all Tennessee executions pending a review of the botched injection. Pike was sentenced to death for the 1995 murder of Colleen Slemmer.
