Caleb Williams completes his first 12 passes in his return as the Bears beat the Falcons 31-23
Back from a hamstring injury, Caleb Williams went 30 of 36 for 305 yards while Kyler Gordon had three sacks in Chicago's win in Atlanta.

Caleb Williams did not look like a player who had missed three weeks.
The Chicago Bears quarterback completed his first 12 passes in his return from a hamstring injury on Sunday as Chicago beat the Atlanta Falcons 31-23 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Bears are now 4-2.
A perfect start
Williams went 6 for 6 for 64 yards on the opening drive and finished it with a 14-yard touchdown pass to Colston Loveland. He did not throw an incompletion until the second quarter.
He finished 30 of 36 for 305 yards and a touchdown. Chicago went 2-1 with Tyson Bagent and Case Keenum filling in while he was out but the offense looked sharper with Williams back.
D'Andre Swift ran for two touchdowns and Roschon Johnson added another as the Bears built a 31-7 lead.
Gordon steals the show on defense
Cornerback Kyler Gordon was activated from the physically unable to perform list before the game. He made up for lost time with three sacks and two forced fumbles.
His biggest play came with 2:54 left. Atlanta had cut the lead to 31-23 when Gordon sacked Michael Penix Jr. and knocked the ball loose. Devin Bush recovered and the Bears ran out the clock.
Falcons make it close
Penix threw three touchdown passes, including two to Kyle Pitts in the fourth quarter. Two Falcons fumbles by returner Zachariah Branch and a lost fumble by Johnson shaped a wild second half.
Chicago also had to overcome 12 penalties for 133 yards. Receiver Jahdae Walker was ejected in the fourth quarter for head-butting an opponent.
Scary moment for Daniels
Falcons linebacker Kendal Daniels was carted off on a stretcher in the third quarter after a helmet-first tackle. The team said he was alert and had movement in all of his arms and legs and he was taken to a hospital in Atlanta for evaluation.
Atlanta fell to 2-4 and hosts San Francisco next Sunday. The Bears get a short week before they host New England on Thursday night.
With Williams healthy again, Chicago looks ready for the race in the NFC North.
