Brooks Nader and Stephen Amell look cozy pitching Baywatch in Cannes
Baywatch reboot costars Brooks Nader and Stephen Amell were photographed looking handsy in Cannes while pitching the series at MIPCOM. Amell is married.
Brooks Nader and Stephen Amell gave fans an early look at their "Baywatch" chemistry while out in Cannes. Photos from the French Riviera show the costars getting close as they promote the reboot.
Handsy photos on the Croisette
In one shot Nader holds Amell's arm and leans over his shoulder from behind. In another Amell's hand sits low on her back as he guides her down a sidewalk.
The pair is in town for MIPCOM Cannes 2026. They are pitching the upcoming "Baywatch" reboot to international buyers.
Married man, shared screen time
Amell wed actress Cassandra Jean Amell in 2012. The couple share two kids. The photos have raised eyebrows because of that fact and because Nader and Amell will share plenty of scenes.
Amell plays a grown-up Hobie Buchannon, the son of David Hasselhoff's Mitch, who now runs the Baywatch crew as captain. Nader's role is Selene, the blunt captain who leads the Zuma Beach lifeguard crew.
When the reboot lands
The new "Baywatch" is set to air in the United States in January 2027. The Cannes stop is meant to sell the show abroad and the costars' easy chemistry is part of the pitch.
