Adam Silver says LeBron James' helicopter commute is 'perfectly appropriate'
The NBA commissioner said there is no rules issue with the 76ers star flying from New York to Philadelphia as long as no team is involved.

LeBron James' ride to work is fine with the NBA.
Commissioner Adam Silver said Tuesday that the helicopter James uses to commute from New York to Philadelphia is "perfectly appropriate."
"He has a deal with Fanatics," Silver said in a TV interview. "It's perfectly appropriate if part of his deal is they're going to supply a helicopter to him as long as it's just a deal between the Fanatics and LeBron and no team is involved; there's no rules issue there whatsoever."
Living in New York, playing in Philly
James signed with the 76ers in free agency but chose to live in New York. Other Sixers have done the same, including his former coach JJ Redick.
The helicopter has still made plenty of headlines. During news conferences after practice, players often stop and laugh as the chopper lifts off from the roof of the team's business center and drowns out the room.
James has brushed off the attention.
"I've done it before; just another way of transportation," he said.
